    Hi,

the new Sony A6300 is out. Unfortunately very expensive (around 1000.- USD) compared to the A6000.

    • 24.2MP (approx.. effective) APS-C sized Exmor CMOS sensor
    • ISO 100 – 51200.
    • 4K video with full pixel readout and no pixel binning in the popular Super 35mm format.
    • The camera boasts '4D FOCUS' system that can lock focus on a subject in as little as 0.05 seconds
    • 425 phase detection AF points that are densely positioned over the entire image area
    • 11 frames per second with continuous autofocus and exposure tracking.
    • Wi-Fi with NFC.
Looks pretty good. We will see what the first reviewers are reporting...

Here is one of "the camera store":

    Hi Alva,

thanks for the heads up. There was already a similar posting in the News section, so I moved your posting here into the A6300 thread...

I think the A6300 is exciting because it shows that the mirrorless segment improves a lot in the AF area, which was IMHO the biggest disadvantage so far with mirrorless vs. DSLRs.

    Will you buy one?

    Best wishes
