I am just somehow undecided about the photo, which certainly is not bad and has nice tones and light but looks somehow very conventional.
But I sure like the thread starting with Heine and ending with Kant. Thank you all.

Perhaps experimenting with cropping might help eliminate distractions. Only trying will reveal if that's true.

I'm not entirely convinced by the framing, personally I would have preferred a little lower and the couple a tad away from the center.
That said, I think you have captured a very beautiful expression of innocense and young love, and this makes for a strong photo.
