    I have read of this canal in J. J's Dubliner. Is it really the one?
    I like the picture, would be great too without the lady walking the pet.

    i can see those strange rainbow rings here, too. try converting the photo to b/w, and than again to RGB, worked on few of mine negs...
    i don't mind the lady, i like pets!

    Swann-yes indeed, the canal in question. No longer used as a canal, just a pretty walk that ends at the docks, where there is a new, London Docklands-like, yuppie development, that was NOT mentioned in "Ulysses"-mbru65.

    Exciting, very exciting. But it looks much different of how I imagined. Besides; nice to find the real canal in a great photo anyway.
    No, I too cannot remember any yuppie's in Ulysses nor Dubliner. But some other very unpleasant figures. My regards from Zurich to Dublin.
