Leica M3, first version 35mm 1,4 (with specs for M3), tripod, Fujichrome 100. About 8 secs at 2.8 or 4. Vertical correction in Photoshop (hence slightly pointier than in real life, but it looks even better like this). It was Feb '82, about -20 degs C. This is a very selective crop from the central area of the full image because even with some stopping down the lens flared like a sinking ship on some of the floodlit areas of the building. I no longer have the full image, which would have been a good post as an example of how that lens performed in the dark.

    I like this a whole lot! I really love how the two points (upper and lower) are roughly the same distance from each coresponding edge, it produces a nice division down the middle without a visible line! Very cool.
