This was taken with a Leica compact (35mm 3.5 Elmar)on T-max at Easter weekend 1998 between Jajce and Jezero in Bosnia. The mediaeval weirs between Jezero Lake and Jajce had been blown up and the ensuing flood had seriously eroded the previously well maintained river banks. The river's increased flow would later affect the future of the ancient bridge at Jajce. Low-key I know, but the weather was dreadful. More from this trip if anybody wants to see them.

    Are the rest equally depressing? I suppose it's important that we see them anyway, particularly since we're on the verge of doing the same damn thing to Iraq (again).
