    This photo has, for me, a very old-fashioned outlook. The pose, the composition, and even your friend's hairstyle all hark back to the 1930s halcyon days of Leica photography. Now I have to say it: spend a couple of hundred dollars (or less if you can) on a pre-war f2 Summar and an M adaptor and take the picture again in exactly the same cirumstances. Failing that knock down the contrast and give it maybe three clicks of blur in Photoshop and give it a warm tone, and see where I'm coming from.
