I have always thought that focus is over rated. Look at Pictorialst work. Much more dynamic in my view. This shot has that feeling
So here I am at the camera=info site but I just don't know what camera took this image LOL. Where pray tell is the INFO?
Outstanding! It is clear you planned this shot and knew precisely where to be for a great composition and a true feeling of the cold morning.
A contemplative image, full of mystery as to what you are thinking about. You are in great physical condition, and that is brought out by the shadow and lights playing off of each other. Nice image.
Another unusual photo. I would wonder how it might look in black and white. The musculature has just enough light and shadow to bring out the elements of muscle and tendon on the body. NICE lighting and a darn good shot.
HP5 is SO fine! Once again, your contrastual elements are not muddy at all, and the balance is excellent. A little bit disconcerting pose, but certainly unique. Overall, a nice piece of work.
Fantastic black and white tonality. The middle greys don't compete with the blacks and whites, rather it all seems synergistic and a "whole" image. The expression on the model's face sort of fits with the indiscriminate persona of the mannekins. I also like the way the diamond-shaped tiles add a measure of tension to the overall soft curves of the image. Your wife's body is flawless, and I love the feeling of comfortable posing that she exudes. I would be curious as to which lens was used (proba
Good thinking on your comment about the image, gusto. I think that the general shape looks like a violin, or more accurately a viola. VERY unique, and a gently taken and beautiful image.
Thanks Klaus . Those Leica-R lenses really shine on the SD9. By the way I am making mounts for Sigma SD9 again , besides the SD14 . My new outlet is user name : sigmacumlaude on eBay. luis@sigmacumlaude.com
Michele--This was taken in Savannah,GA,USA from the window of a tour bus. The original was heavily cropped, which probably explains the quality loss. Also, there was probably some movement from the bus. This was a candid shot. I thought that in this instance the increased grain gave the shot a little bit of a painterly feel. Anyway, thanks for your comment.
