Privacy Policy
Camera-info.com and all related "x-info.com" sites recognize the importance of protecting the privacy of you as a user of our Website. Our Websites do not collect Personal Information about you except for information that you voluntarily provide in your public postings and for the use of our services (i.e. newsletter, e-mail notifications from the forum, profile in the forum etc.).
Personal Information is treated confidentially. We do not give any personal information away, neither for free, nor for money. Also not your e-mail address. We use all information only for our own services of our own websites.
Use of Cookies
We use cookies to enhance your experience on the site, for example we use a cookie to store your userid for the forums, this means that when you come to post a message the forums system can automatically complete your name and email address. We also use cookies to record the time and date you last visited the forums so that the next time you visit we can flag those messages which were posted since your last visit as "NEW".
Access to your e-mail address/ Spamming
On all our sites, your e-mail address is hidden. It is not possible to read your e-mail address from anyone, also not from spam spiders. We use an internal "private messaging" system with which you can contact other members of our sites without showing your e-mail address.
Your e-mail address is never accessable over our system. Only if you publish it yourself in your postings.
Internet has changed nowadays. Because of spam spiders we strongly recommend neither to write your e-mail address in a posting on our sites, nor on any other Website on the internet.
If you use our private messaging system, the e-mail will get to you exactly the same way as if you would send it directly. Our system is only forwarding it to you. But without disclosing the address itself. The advantage is therefore that by using this internal system you are protecting your e-mail address, because it is not accessable for anybody.
How to use it? You simply click on the name of the author next to the posting and on the next screen on the envelop-icon. That's all.
